Ready for an estimate or want to place an order? Here’s what you’ll need to know:
- Make sure you’re already a customer! If not, click here.
- Frame style number – Finished corner style numbers usually contain a profile number, a finish number, and sometimes, a special detail number (for special corners, carvings, sgraffitos, etc.)
- Dimensions – Inside dimensions unless otherwise stated. Standard allowance of 1/8″ is always added to the construction of the frame unless otherwise explicitly requested.
- Modifications – Modifications include buildups for deeper rabbets, custom or adjusted finishes, alterations to profiles, etc.
- Turnaround time expectations – Turnaround time is typically 3-4 weeks for most handcrafted frames, 4-6 weeks for carved frames. Turnaround times are based on capacity at the time of order, holiday closures, and employee vacations. These are the realities of producing handmade custom products. We believe they’re worth the wait. We hope you’ll agree.
- Need to match a sample – If you need the frame to exactly match a sample, please send it in with your order.
- 6 foot minimum on all finished corner frames – We can make frames as small as you like (within reason), but we have to charge for a 6 ft frame due to the labor involved.
- Oversize charge on frames over 16 linear feet – Larger frames are more complicated and generally require special accommodations in production. We include this in our quotes on these larger frames.
